Der Switch verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber eine Store-and-Forward-Architektur und unterst\u00fctzt 10\/100Base-T\/TX, Full-\/Half-Duplex mit Autonegotiation. Er bietet auch HP Auto MDI\/MDI-X und IEEE 802.3u Auto-Crossover-Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr eine bequeme Verkabelung. Mit CoS gem\u00e4\u00df IEEE 802.1Q und 8 QoS-Priorit\u00e4tsqueues erm\u00f6glicht der Switch eine effiziente Datenpriorisierung. Zus\u00e4tzliche Funktionen wie LLDP & PTCP Delay-Traffic Blocking (f\u00fcr PROFINET-Netzwerke) und IEEE 802.3x Vollduplex-Flusskontrolle tragen zur Netzwerksicherheit und -stabilit\u00e4t bei. Der Switch entspricht der PROFINET Conformance Class A und bietet zwei 16K MAC-Adress-Lookup-Tabellen sowie zwei 256 KByte Speicher f\u00fcr Frame-Pufferung.
